Transparency, Accountability & Anti-corruption

We embark on anti-corruption activities to help improve transparency, accountability, and integrity within governmental and non-governmental institutions. Apart from denouncing and documenting cases of corruption and related institutional dysfunctions, we also play constructive roles by providing stakeholders with objective analyses to identify the factors that underlie corruption and its impact on access of citizens to justice, security, and economic opportunities.

This is to expose waste and opaque financial practices within the public administration. Along this line, we offer advice and support in drafting and implementing institutional policies aimed at eliminating corruption from institutions.

Corruption in Nigeria ranks among the highest in the world, and cuts across social, political, economic, and cultural status. Thus, we regularly advocate the need for broad institutional reforms, addressing not only equipment, infrastructure, and financial resources, but intangible factors, such as establishing a more service-oriented and accountable institutional culture, promoting integrity, and eliminating impunity within private and public institutions and sustainable long-term management of resources.
